“As a national programme we have commissioned the development of 5 educational packages/masterclasses as part of the national support offer we want to provide for GPs as they undertake the QOF Quality Improvement work on end of life care this year. Because the development of these packages are at different stages, we will let you know about them, and where you can access these, as each one becomes available.
I’m delighted to tell you that the educational package to support early identification of people likely to be in their last year of life is now available. This has been developed by colleagues in the Palliative and End of Life Care Clinical Networks in the North West. The masterclass consists of 4 videos, produced by the End of Life Partnership in association with the Clinical Networks. They can be accessed through this link: http://eolp.co.uk/education-masterclass – and can be used as standalone instructional videos, as part of a study day with more experiential and other teaching or as part of a PCN study event. You are welcome to use these freely but it is important to note that they cannot be used to generate profit for any educational team/department.”
