Summary of Service
The CCICP MCATS service provides specialist triage and assessment for patients with Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic, Pain and Rheumatology conditions.
The service provides clinic based appointments across the Vale Royal and South Cheshire footprint. The service can access specialist diagnostic tests and refer onwards to secondary care as required. The multi-disciplinary team is formed from a GPsi, Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapists and Podiatrist.
The CCICP Community Pain service provide a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care and the team is formed of a specialist Nurse, Consultant, Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner and Cognitive behavioural Therapist. The team provide 1:1 and group therapy to support patients in the long term management of their Pain.
How to Refer?
Referrals are made via GP’s through e-referral to the Musculoskeletal Single point of access (MSK SPA).
